Hmm, did you try to follow the instructions from windows in the readme.txt file? You need to first download the zip package of PHP because it has the dll files .. then you need to set the extension dir, then you need to uncomment sockets in the ini file.

Let me know.

Same error
I followed the readme.txt file.
I unzipped PHP 5.2 to c:\php, copied php.ini to c:\windows and uncommented the proper lines.

fixed it.

I copied all PHP-IRC 2.2.1 files in my php dir.
Now it works :)

Are you sure php-cli is using the WAMP php.ini?
(Never used WAMP myself so don't know how it works)

I don't know, but i suppose yes because the environmental php variable...
...
Hmm
...
...
I don't suppose more, the environmental path variable set has pointed to a other php installation directory, a other manual installation that i have maked "C:\desenvolvimento-web\php" but the correct directory is "C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.6", it remebers me to clean all not sucessful installations see:

But the correct acordding with the posted WAMP extension_dir is "C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.6"
